Blurb: 'Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…'

Cover: The cover of this book features one of the cutest couples I've ever seen about to kiss. Of course I had to get it!

Plot: The plot of this book is based around a 19-year old troubled girl called Avery experiencing her first year in college. The book follows Avery as she falls in love with her HOTTIE of a neighbour Cameron Hamilton whilst also trying to hide her previous dark experience with a guy from him. The book tortures the reader in (in a good way) until they're dying to know what exactly happened back on that faithful Halloween night.

Likes: From the moment I started reading this book, I loved Cam and Avery's relationship. I love the way he continued to ask her out and every time she refused. I found myself very sympathetic towards Avery's situation. She's had this AWFUL experience, is now in a new city, doesn't know who she can trust and has virtually no-one to talk to. And then there's Cam. Oooh what's better than a guy who bakes? I don't know either. Team AVERAM!

Dislikes: The only thing I disliked about this book was *SPOILER* how long it took Averam to get together. Then, when they where together they fought over the most ridiculous things. I hated how long it took Avery to be honest with Cam especially after he'd been so honest with her about his past.

Verdict: All in all, I really did eat this book alive. Plus bonus points for getting me out of the funk Michael Grant's 'Gone' put me in. (By the by, I didn't finish it! *SHOCK HORROR*) So I'm going to give it an 8.5/10. Can't wait for the next one! Yo Jennifer, feel free to send me an ARC of any of your books :)

Fave Quote:
"I have cookies."
"Cookies?" My brows rose.
"Yeah, and I made them. I'm quite the baker."
For some reason I couldn't picture that. "You baked cookies?"
"I bake a lot of things, and I'm sure you're dying to know all about those things. But tonight, it was chocolate and walnut cookies. They are the shit if I do say so myself."

Unfortunately THIS Cam doesn't bake, but instead prefers his cookies from the box.
First book read on my nook! Until next time x
